Boyd Coddington’s Boydster ll

BOYD Coddington Boydster ll was created by Chip Foose . With its sleek and stunning design, it quickly caught the attention of car enthusiasts around the world. The car, named the Boydster II, was not your ordinary hot rod. It was a masterpiece crafted by the legendary Boyd Coddington, and it boasted top- of-the-line instruments, a steering wheel, and wheels all made by Boyd himself.

To add to its exclusivity, the Boydster II had an all-leather interior and a glass fiber body, which Boyd had ordered six of from Australia after Chip Foose designed the first prototype. The Boydster 1 concept had already made waves in the car world, but the Boydster II took things to a whole new level.

The car was fitted with a Chevrolet 350 motor and a TH 400 manual transmission. The back drive boasted an independent suspension from a Corvette, and the Wilwood Pro brakes ensured that the car stopped as smoothly as it accelerated.

After wowing crowds at various shows on the west coast, the Boydster II eventually ended up in a showroom in New York. It was here that a Norwegian man named Alf Andersson laid eyes on it and fell in love. He knew that he had to have it, so he purchased the car and had it shipped to his home country.

In Norway, the Boydster II found a new home in the land of the midnight sun. With its classic design and powerful engine, it was the perfect car for driving into the California sunset, and now cruising under the glow of the midnight sun. It’s rich history and undeniable beauty made it a treasure for Alf and a true symbol of automotive craftsmanship for anyone who was lucky enough to see it.
