Editor The moment I walked onto eXoMod’s display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in 2022, Rick Katzeff, the CEO & Builder, and I made contact. Here was a classic-looking car made from 717hp Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Sweet lines in carbon fiber made for the on-the-go person living anywhere. We soon had a deal to meet a few days after the show closed, north of Las Vegas, for my special photo shoots.

It was with great anticipation that we met on a smooth black road with the wild mountains behind, reflecting the Plum Crazy Pearl beast rolling towards me. In the next few hours, we had a great time shooting his car and he served up all the “gruesome” details of what I was exposing to my camera. The car is an idea born out of the desire to deliver a modern automobile, but in the feel of a 1968-style car. ExoMod hired great hands who knew how to create the new skin for the wider Challenger.
