Richard’s 66 Triumph

Richard’s 66 Triumph

David Jones (son and owner):
I bought the engine in my high school years. It came in two milk crates for under $500. I had an old 70’s chopper frame to mess with. I discovered stress fractures and then ditched the frame (eventually). I lost roller due to move but recovered previous project (same bike) from my best friend. I started to work with my father & friend on it until I moved again to Oklahoma from southern California. I continued to mock up the bike in my vision until I couldn’t go much further. After talking to my father about the project it became REAL! So, I brought it back to California, at one point when it was almost done I joined him in the final rough final fabrication. He completed the fine details including finishes. I wanted Rat Bike rattle can paint, got what you see.
